Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, this charming cafe has a welcoming vibe that makes it stand out from other diners in the area. A mix of classic dishes and inventive twists on breakfast staples, Tony’s offers something for everyone-whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or lingering over coffee.

The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the friendly staff and a warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The decor is casual and comfortable, with just enough charm to remind you of a small-town diner, but with modern touches that elevate the experience. It’s clear that Tony’s Breakfast Cafe is a local favorite, and it's not hard to see why.

The menu is packed with classic breakfast items, but Tony's puts its own spin on many of them. If you're a fan of eggs, bacon, and pancakes, you won't be disappointed-these are staples done right. But what really sets Tony’s apart is their commitment to quality and flavor. The ingredients are always fresh, and the meals are cooked to order, ensuring that each plate is as delicious as it is satisfying.

One of the most popular items on the menu is the "Tony’s Special," a hearty combination of eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast. This dish is a perfect example of the diner’s approach to comfort food. It’s simple but flavorful, with each element prepared with care. The eggs are cooked to perfection, the bacon is crispy but not too greasy, and the hash browns are golden and crispy on the outside while tender on the inside. It's the kind of meal that makes you feel like you’re being treated to something special, even though it's a classic.

For those with a sweet tooth, the pancakes at Tony’s are a must-try. Fluffy and golden brown, they’re served with butter and syrup, but you can also add fruit or whipped cream for an extra indulgence. The portion sizes are generous, so whether you’re planning to share or want a big breakfast to fuel your day, you won’t leave hungry.

Another standout is the breakfast burrito, which is packed with eggs, cheese, sausage, and all the fixings you’d expect, wrapped in a warm tortilla. It’s a perfect choice if you want something that’s both filling and portable. Whether you're enjoying it at the cafe or taking it to go, this dish always hits the spot.

If you’re not in the mood for something heavy, Tony’s also offers lighter options like yogurt parfaits and oatmeal, both of which are great choices if you're looking for something healthy but still satisfying. The yogurt parfait, in particular, is a refreshing option, made with layers of fresh fruit, granola, and creamy yogurt-light, tasty, and perfect for those who want something a little lighter.

The staff at Tony’s is another reason why this place is so beloved. They’re friendly, attentive, and always ready to make sure your meal is exactly what you want. The service is quick, but you never feel rushed-whether you're dining alone, with friends, or with family, the team here makes sure you have a great experience from start to finish.

Not only does Tony's Breakfast Cafe excel at its food and service, but it also offers a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to linger over your meal and enjoy the company of those around you. It’s a spot that feels like it could easily be a part of your regular rotation, whether you're stopping by for a quick bite before work or settling in for a leisurely weekend breakfast with friends.

  • Been coming here with my group of attendees from these fur meets I run by Galloping Ghost Arcade. Ever since then we've been having nothing but amazing experiences at this establishment. Owners are very down to earth and the waitress there named Lee she is totally amazing as well as Karla the waitress that works there as well and so many of the staff in general are always super friendly and overall appreciate supporting small businesses and continue to do so! Definitely recommend this place!

  • Good food to dine in or carry out. Oxtail stew is offered every other Saturday. Call first to be sure it’s available. Huge menu with a variety of dishes. 24 hour restaurant. Service is excellent. Parking is available behind the restaurant.

  • For food at 12:00am, this place had the most delectable salad in the entire world. I had the village salad. It came with potato salad that had a vinegary or maybe horseradish flavor? It was good though, and it might be a Chicago thing since I’m not from here. The clam chowder was very floury. I think it has a roux base, and I can respect that, but I also think it could’ve used salt, pepper, and paprika to buff it up. The roux was the main flavor instead of anything else. I can’t even be a little mad at it though. For 14 dollars I recieved a huge salad, two rolls, potato salad, AND A HUGE CUP OF SOUP. You can’t get it like that where I’m from.

  • We came in at a quiet time, without reservations, amd the staff were AMAZING! They were able to seat all 18 (18!!) of us together with a little moving around of tables and maybe 5 minutes of waiting, and our wait staff were SO incredible when we asked if it could be 18 different receipts. We were a group of friends online from a Twitch community that is incredibly kind, welcoming and loving. For most of is, we were getting to meet each other in-person for the first time. I came all the way down from Canada with a friend, heck if a road trip! Tony's was an amazing introduction to Chicago and the people and atmosphere there. I was thrilled with how genuinely caring people were. Also, I ordered a salad thinking it would be a small meal. Oh no. It was the size of my HEAD . I think I managed to get through half of it. We had an amazing time there, and at one point our channel was live so we even logged in with our phones so everyone could say hello, haha! I would love to go back here next time I'm in Chicago. It's so close to the Pinball and Arcade, too!

  • This is your typical busy diner. Tony's does not disappoint. I moved back from Texas this summer and finally went to eat breakfast at Tony's and its just as good as I remember. There was a wait but we waited less than ten minutes. The waitress was attentive and helpful, I got plenty of coffee refills. The food is delicious. I got the steak skillet and I tried to eat it all but it was too much. It was sooo good though! So, of course, I took the leftovers home. I was looking forward to my leftovers. However, I was disappointed! By the time I made it to the fridge there was only a piece of steak and some hash browns left. My teenager struck again. Oh, and my kids also enjoyed the pancakes, too. I did sample them and I say they are better than IHOP......my son says he is not the guilty one. So, that means the culprit it still out there.

  • Tony's Breakfast Cafe offers an extensive menu with a wide selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options to choose from. Whether you're craving classic pancakes and eggs, a hearty sandwich, or a full dinner plate, there’s something for everyone. The portions they serve are generous, making it a great value for the price. When you walk in, you're warmly greeted by the owner, which adds a personal and welcoming touch to the experience. The staff is incredibly attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that you feel well taken care of throughout your visit. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a relaxed dining experience. The restaurant is very well maintained; it's clean and organized, with a spacious layout that makes you feel comfortable. The parking lot is convenient and easy to access, which is a big plus. I ordered the Greek-style skirt steak, and it was impressive in size—huge and tender. The flavors were good, but I felt it could have used a bit more seasoning to elevate the dish further. Overall, the prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food makes it a place worth returning to. If you’re looking for a welcoming spot with generous portions and a diverse menu, Tony's Breakfast Cafe is definitely worth a visit."
